“Café Minamdang” Continues Streak At No. 1 As “Link” Also Enjoys Ratings Boost

KBS2’s “Café Minamdang” continues at No. 1!

According to Nielsen Korea, the July 19 broadcast of “Café Minamdang” garnered an average nationwide rating of 5.0 percent for episode 8. This is a 0.5 percent increase from the previous night’s score of 4.5 percent.

tvN’s “Link” achieved an average nationwide rating of 2.0 percent, marking a small boost in ratings from the previous episode’s score of 1.423 percent.

  Girls’ Generation’s Yuri has made a hilarious apology to SM Entertainment’s founder Lee Soo Man after mistaking Kim Young Chul for him! On the July 19 broadcast of Girls’ Generation’s reality show “So Shi Tam Tam” (romanized title), the members participated in three extreme missions, including sky gliding, off-road luge, and an alpine coaster. During the final alpine coaster mission, the group members were shown photos of 10 different stars throughout the ride and had to memorize their names in order. During Yuri’s run, she immediately recognized Kang Ho Dong, but was just as quick to name Lee Soo Man while looking at comedian Kim Young Chul’s photo.   It seems as though this season of “Yumi’s Cells” is bringing all the pain and heartbreak. Yet again, viewers are faced with several heartbreaking situations that are brought into the world of Yumi and her cells. Here are five times our hearts broke in episodes 11 and 12. Warning: Spoilers for episodes 11-12 ahead! 1. Seeing how much pain Babi has gone through A couple of months after Yumi and Babi break up, Babi is given the choice to move back to Seoul from Jeju Island. He decides that he no longer wants to stay in Jeju as it is too painful for him. When he returns to Seoul, he bumps into Yumi at the local coffee shop, and there is a flashback to right after Yumi and Babi break up, and we are able to see just how difficult it was for Babi after the breakup.
